November Workshops @ Snazzys

Hello November and welcome to chillier, shorter days and longer, darker nights but with the richer colours of Thanksgiving and a bit of sparkle and shine ready for Christmas. No Double Cardmaking workshop in the Studio this month I'm afraid but they will be back in the New Year, meantime two very different mini book workshops and some brilliant last minute Christmas cards ideas plus our usual monthly layout workshop too. So, very different workshops and six drop in sessions to choose from, why not have a browse and see if there's one just right for you!
Tuesday 3 November 11am to 3pm

Croptime £5

Are you a scrapbooker? Thinking about trying scrapbooking? Got lots of photos but don't know where to start? Stuck for layout ideas? If this sounds like you then why not pop along to our new Croptime drop in session between 11am and 3pm on the first Tuesday of each month. It is not a taught workshop but more of a social session where we are happy to share all our tools and equipment with a few ideas thrown into the pot too! Kettle and coffee pot are on so just bring along whatever want to work on, beginners very welcome.

Wednesday 4 November 11am to 3pm and 6pm to 9pm

Stop By and Stamp £5

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced crafter, make cards, scrapbook layouts, art journal pages or create Mixed Media pieces, stamps are a great addition. In these sessions we make all our workshop tools, stamps and consumables available to you so you can have fun experimenting and creating without having to buy all the bits and pieces. Why not drop by, enjoy a cuppa and have a go!

Christmas Mini Book £15/1SWV

At this time of year it is always useful to have a mini book prepared ready for your seasonal photos, which can then be slipped in the post to far flung friends and relatives so they can share in your Christmas cheer. The number of pages in this little book can easily be adapted to match your needs, and it can look quite different depending upon the papers used.

Tuesday 17 November 10.30am to 1.30pm

November Monthly Layout Workshop £15/1SWV

For this workshop you will need six 6"x 4" photos of very similar landscapes (or six copies of the same photo) and we will be creating a mosaic layout. Skylines, beautiful scenery such as beaches all work really well for this.

Saturday 28 November 11am to 4pm

Snowflake Star Book £30/2SWV

I designed and made my first original star book project way back in 2003 and 12 years on it is still my most requested Christmas workshop. After a break of two years from the workshop schedule I have re-designed it to include snowflake shaped apertures for a different look and I am delighted at the effect of depth this has created. Great as a coffee table decoration or to hang up.

Sunday 29 November 11am to 3pm

Art Journal Sunday £5

Drop by the studio between 11am and 3pm and join in the fun with inks, stamps, stencils, masks, paints and other media all provided. Just bring your journal, pour yourself a cuppa and get started.

Well, there it is, the November schedule with a whole host of Christmas and Thanksgiving projects to choose from. Booking is simple, either ring the studio on 01793 629062, or email us at snazzysstudio@gmail.com - I do hope you can join me.

Remember, to save 20% on your workshops in our studio all you need to do is buy a Snazzy Workshop Voucher from the studio in advance of the day you are coming to class, or drop me an email telling me you want to pay in advance, and I will send you a PayPal invoice for the reduced amount which must be settled in advance of your workshop. Easy!

In all our workshops and drop in sessions we provide everything you need to complete the project including tools and basic consumables such as adhesive. If you would prefer to work with your own tools, you are of course very welcome to bring them along.
